Servicing a car in warranty? |

Q: If I purchase a brand new car, do I have to have it serviced using the main dealer network to maintain the warranty? A: No, a new law was passed in 2002 that allows independant garages to carry out servicing during the warranty period, and this will not affect your warranty as long as the materials used are Orignal Equipment Manfacturer (OEM) quality grade parts and oils.
